Optimize your designs machined parts faster and more efficiently

Design the right angle into a circular arc
All CNC tools have a cylindrical body. If a small right angle is designed, a small tool needs to be used, which means an increase in processing hours. this makes the processing time and cost raise.
Decrease the depth of the tank
A deep tank means a large amount of material needs to be removed, besides, this greatly increases the processing time, so the cost will be high. The suggested depth of the tank does not exceed 4 times the length.
Avoid thin walls
Because the strength of the thin wall is not enough. Thin-wall processing is easy to deform or even break. In order to avoid this, it is necessary to add more complicated processing paths, which means a high cost. The suggested thickness of the wall For metal parts is at least 0.8mm, and the plastic parts are less than 1.5mm.
Reduce thread depth
Unnecessary thread depth will increase CNC machining costs because of the need to use special tools. The suggested thread depth is not more than 0.5 times the hole diameter.
Avoid higher tolerance requirements
If the tolerance is not defined in the part drawing, the product parts will be processed according to the standard tolerance. Unless there is special demand, it is not good to use higher tolerances. this increases the cost due to the complex processing.
Reduce the number of clamping
Dividing the complex structure into several parts for CNC machining. it is better to reduce the number of parts clamping as much as possible and do it one time.
Avoid high depth-width ratio
During CNC machining, some parts with a high depth-width ratio are prone to vibration. this makes it difficult to accurately process. The good aspect ratio is not exceeding 4.
