Pat\u0159\u00ed do skupiny termoplast\u016f polyethylen (PE), kter\u00e9 se vyzna\u010duj\u00ed krystalickou povahou.<\/p>\n\n<p>S p\u0159\u00edpravou PE za\u010dali v 50. letech 20. stolet\u00ed n\u011bmeck\u00fd v\u011bdec Karl Ziegler a italsk\u00fd v\u011bdec Giulio Natta. Dnes pat\u0159\u00ed mezi celosv\u011btov\u011b nejroz\u0161\u00ed\u0159en\u011bj\u0161\u00ed plasty. Mezi n\u011bkter\u00e9 typy plast\u016f spadaj\u00edc\u00ed do t\u00e9to kategorie pat\u0159\u00ed polyethylen s n\u00edzkou hustotou, polyethylen s vysokou hustotou a polyethylen s ultravysokou molekulovou hmotnost\u00ed, kter\u00e9 maj\u00ed r\u016fzn\u00e9 vyu\u017eit\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n<p>LDPE se nap\u0159\u00edklad pou\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 k v\u00fdrob\u011b plastov\u00fdch s\u00e1\u010dk\u016f a f\u00f3li\u00ed pro balen\u00ed potravin a dal\u0161\u00edch v\u00fdrobk\u016f v supermarketech. Je zn\u00e1m\u00fd sv\u00fdmi dobr\u00fdmi elektroizola\u010dn\u00edmi vlastnostmi, vysokou odolnost\u00ed v\u016f\u010di chemik\u00e1li\u00edm a n\u00e1raz\u016fm a silnou pevnost\u00ed v tahu.
